    Can I have SC Standard on TWO computers

    I have SC Standard on my Windows 7 computer – I bought another computer – Windows 10 – that I will PROBABLY dedicate as my VO & Video work/projects computer. I downloaded and installed SC on the windows 10 – but I can't activate it so:
    1. Are you only allowed to use it on ONE computer only?
    2. IF SO – and I want to keep it on BOTH Computers – do I have to buy another FULL license?
    3. and IF I DO decide to to make the Win 10 laptop a dedicated work computer and put SC on it – I will obviously have to remove it from my Win 7 laptop – (If I don't want to buy ANOTHER license – assuming Question 2 is the case) – so how do I do that so that SC understands I am just moving it from one computer to another w/the LEAST hassle and Customer Support queries!

    Yes, you can only use the license on one computer at a time. You will need to deactivate the license on the old computer using iLok desktop manager (you can download it from iLok's website), and then you can activate it on the new computer.

    If you want to be using both at the same time you would need to separate licenses. Otherwise you can switch back and forth by deactivating/activating the license on both sides. You do not need to uninstall the program, just deactivate the license in iLok for this to work.

    Hi there,
    Any chance of being able to use iLok cloud in the future.
    Given that we need to have an active internet connection to sue Source Connect in any case, I think it would be great.

    Hello Again.

    There are no Plans to integrate ILOK Cloud into the Source Elements Licensing system at present.
    Please continue to use the current Ilok USB dongle system, or de-activate/Reactivate system to move licences around.

    my plan is slightly different. I have two studios, one in California and one in Texas. Rather than carry a dongle back and forth, I have a dongle for each computer. I have been trying to install SC on the California set up, but the website keeps trying to install on the license on the Texas dongle, which already has one. Any way to get customer service to walk me through this mare's nest? I've been using SC in Texas successfully for a couple of years now, and would love to migrate it to California. Thanks.
