    Hello , I could not find the answer to my question. A client asked me if I had a dial in number. I wasn't sur what he was asking , then I thought that there might be a way for someone to dial in to the session without having source connect. I have standard. Is this possible?

    A Source-Connect Standard or Pro user can connect with other users by adding each others usernames to their contact list. You can access the contact list using MANAGE CONTACTS with from the tab in the application or by logging into the Source Elements Dashboard -> Click on Manage Contact – > Search by username -> Add

    Your client is likely asking if you have the ability to do a phone patch. You speak into the mic, they hear you over the phone, you hear the client in your headphones. This is not possible with Source Connect.

    You could try using Google voice, Skype, Zoom, or some other service that lets you make or receive phone calls. Please note that some of these programs take control over your microphone volume levels and that leads to many problems with recording. There are ways to disable auto volume adjustments in some of the aforementioned programs.

    what if they have Source Connect Now? The free version. Can you make them a contact for a session? I have Standard

    You both need to have the paid version of Source Connect in order to connect in the desktop app. If you want to connect trough Source Connect Now, you'll both use the browser version.
