    Using SC Standard internationally

Can't find in search… are there any known problems using SC Standard internationally? I am going to Central America. I will have more then enough internet bandwidth… but I am afraid that my account might not work if it recognizes that I am in a foreign country? Like a Netflix or Amazon Prime account. Does anyone have experience with that? Will I need to use a VPN? Thanks!

Currently our users are all over the globe and we haven't run into a country that SC does not work in yet. As long as your bandwidth is good, you should be good to use SC like normal. If you do experience issues connecting there do let us know!

I have a question about using Source Connect Standard with a non-Source Connect user. I interview a Catholic priest in South Africa, once per week. We have been using Skype, but, as we know, Skype is unreliable. I've only ever connected to other studios with my Source Connect Standard. Is it possible to connect with him (not a Source Connect user) with my Source Connect Standard account?

    Hi radiodad!

    Thank you for your message.

    I'm afraid it's not possible. However, there's a solution:
    – Use Source-Connect Now instead (
    – Use Source-Nexus Basic or Pro if you need to record the priest in your DAW from Source-Connect Now (

Source-Connect Now is free to use and web-based (Chrome, Edge, Opera, and others are supported)

    I hope this helps.
