Using the same UDP and TCP port number for Source-Connect and Source-Live

When using source-connect and source-live simultaneously, is it better to use different port numbers? In studio A, We use UDP 6000-6001 for source-connect while using TCP 6000,6001 for source-live and it seems to work well. In studio B, We use TCP 6004-6005 for source-live but I see no difference. It would make more sense to forward the same ports for both studios. Is it a standard practice to use the same port number (6000-6001 for example)? Or is it better to use different ports?

    Thank you

    Hello,

TCP and UDP ports are completely different, so you can use overlapping ports with no problem. It does make sense to use the same port numbers, since it is easier to remember and, in some cases, set up.

    Best,
